what will it cost?...

Reticulation

Installations: are always on a case by case inspection, but the following 'set up costs' can be expected:

Retic cut in by licensed plumber $170.00
Hardwiring of controller $150.00
Wireless rain sensor (now compulsory) $150.00
Electronic Controller $100.00-$400.00 (depending on what is chosen)

To give you an idea of what to expect a VERY rough ball park figure for a 4 x 2 home on a 600m block with 5 or 6 stations is usually around $2500.00

A front install on this kind of home would be around $1300.00 and a rear install usually around $1100.00.

We always compete on price so feel free to let us know your best quote and we will beat it.

Service Work
: $60.00 for the first half hour and then $15.00/quarter hour after that (plus parts)

Setting your controller: if you live north of Hester Ave then it will be $30.00. If you live further south then normal service fees apply.

Discounts: Yes, I do give some discounts to pensioners and those genuinely in need. If you have a pension card or health care card then please show me and I will give you a 15% discount

Turf

There are many varieties of turf, but these are the most popular

Wintergreen: $8.00/sqm + delivery (usually around $65.00) supplied and laid

Buffalo: $13.00/sqm + delivery (usually around $65.00) supplied and laid

These prices assume:
  • the ground is approx 20ml below desired finish height
  • the ground is level and raked free of rocks and debris
  • any soil conditioner has already been added.

When we come we:
  • screed the ground to get it smooth and level
  • wet the area to be laid and spread dynamic lifter (lawn starter)
  • lay the lawn
  • compact the lawn
  • sweep the area and clean up
  • give you written instructions on how to maintain your new lawn

The wastes will be left on your block to dispose of.

We can also:

- remove excess dirt ($90.00/trailer load)
- supply and spread soil conditioner ($150.00/trailer load)
- remove all wastes - price depends on volume but usually $30.00 covers it

Soakwells

The final cost will depend on the type of soakwells chosen(we only use plastic or versitanks) and the nature of the dirt we will be digging in. Soft soil is obviously cheaper than limestone and if machinery is required that would be factored into the expense also.

You can expect costs to be approx $150.00-$200.00 / soakwell for parts and labour in normal sandy ground.

In hard ground an hourly rate will be charged.
